Salmon Safe Eco-Certification Presentation

Join us for the next Harbour Stewardship Speaker Series event on Salmon Safe Eco-certification March 15 from 10-11:30 am at the CRD Headquarters (625 Fisgard St.). Salmon-Safe BC is an eco-certification program hosted by the Fraser Basin Council that takes a holistic approach to land and water management by focusing on salmon as key indicators of ecosystem health. The session will provide an overview of the program, certification process, and provide a case study of Vancouver Island's first certified site, BC Transit's HandyDART site in View Royal. Katie Hamilton, Tavola Strategy Group and Cori Barraclough, Aqua-Tex Scientific Consulting will share their experience working on BC Transit’s HandyDART site. Register here.
